Peter has a career that has spanned the last 19 years serving the industry as an Industrial Designer. After studying Industrial Design at the University of Johannesburg (formerly known as Witwatersrand Technicon) he enjoyed employment with two of the top design companies at the time. He co-founded KM Product Design (Formally known as Kitemark Product Design ) in 1993 with ex-partner Paul Kite, a London Royal School of Art graduate.

Peter served as Chairperson of the Judges Panel for the SABS Prototype Design Awards and also serves as a Judge on the annual SABS Design Excellence Awards.

He has also done duty as a part time lecturer at the Industrial Design Department of the University of Johannesburg on a number of past occasions.

Peter is a well known speaker at the Idea to Product seminars hosted by the SABS Design Institute (See the Download section for a copy of some of these lectures).

Peter is married with two children. He likes playing with all things radio controlled and occasionally pretends to be a weekend musician.

Diego F Baptista

Diego has been employed by KM for more than 7 years. He is well known in the industry for his extraordinary styling ability and all round Industrial design skills. After finishing his degree in Industrial Design KM specially selected him from the group of graduates based on the promise he showed even at that early stage of his career. As winner of numerous student awards he has grown into one of the top designers in South Africa.

Diego is the proud father of a daughter and likes spending time throwing things around at the Gym.

Tommy Fritz
Industrial Designer
B-Tech Industrial Design

Tommy joined KM early in 2008 and has already demonstrated that he is a top Industrial Designer that not only manages projects on his own, but he has also earned the title of Product Graphics guru.

Tommy is married and enjoys SADPA sport shooting, Moto-X and Fire throwing!

Andre Killian
Mechanical Engineer
N-Dip Mechanical Engineering

Andre originally comes from an IT background and he has very successfully combined these skills with his engineering qualification. He is also responsible for managing our production facility for our range of corporate display equipment.

Andre is married. Nobody really knows what he does in his spare time but rumour has it that it involves some sort of super computer that he is building in the basement?

Neva Levings
Administration Manager

Neva was born in South Africa and has spent most of her adult life in Zimbabwe. She honed her administration skills over many years by not only administrating multiple farms but also her own business.

Neva is not only responsible for all the administration but also plays part time mother to all of us. Her reputation for orchestrating the daily catering has led to many customers scheduling their meetings with us over lunch time.

Neva is widowed and enjoys singing in her church choir.
